3. User Accounts and Responsibilities

Account Creation: To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:

4. Business Subscriptions and Payments

Payment Terms:

• All payments are processed securely through Stripe
• Subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually as selected)
• You authorize us to charge your payment method for all fees incurred
• Prices are subject to change with 30 days' notice to active subscribers
• All fees are non-refundable except as required by law or as stated in our refund policy

Automatic Renewal: Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date. You can cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings.

Failed Payments: If a payment fails, we will attempt to charge your payment method again. If payment cannot be processed, your subscription may be suspended or cancelled.

5. Refund Policy

Subscription Refunds:

• Monthly subscriptions: No refunds for partial months. Cancel anytime to avoid future charges.
• Annual subscriptions: Refunds available within 30 days of initial purchase, minus any used portion
• No refunds for subscriptions cancelled mid-term (service remains active until end of billing period)

Contest Entry Fees: Any fees paid for contest entries are non-refundable once the contest voting period has begun.

To request a refund where applicable, please contact us with your account details and reason for the request. Refunds will be processed within 10 business days of approval.

6. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree NOT to:

Content Representations: You represent and warrant that:

• You own or have the necessary rights to submit the User Content
• Your User Content does not infringe any third-party rights
• Your User Content complies with these Terms and applicable laws
• You have obtained all necessary permissions for any identifiable persons or pets in your content

WoofSpots Content: All content provided by WoofSpots, including text, graphics, logos, icons, images, and software, is the property of WoofSpots or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

Content Moderation: We reserve the right to remove any User Content that violates these Terms or that we find objectionable, without prior notice.

8. Prohibited Activities

The following activities are expressly prohibited:

• Vote Manipulation: Using multiple accounts, VPNs, or automated tools to artificially inflate contest votes
• Fake Reviews: Posting false or misleading reviews about businesses
• Spam: Posting repetitive, unsolicited, or promotional content
• Inappropriate Content: Posting content that is offensive, discriminatory, threatening, or explicit
• False Information: Submitting false information in lost/found pet reports or business listings
• Scams and Fraud: Using the Service to perpetrate scams or defraud other users
• Copyright Infringement: Uploading content that infringes on others' intellectual property rights

Violation of these prohibitions may result in immediate account termination and potential legal action.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

• Any conduct or content of any third party on the Service
• Any content obtained from the Service

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR $100, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

• Your User Content
• Your use of the Service
